Play at our place!
For just $5 a person you get three hours to play our library of 500+ tabletop games. You can sit and play while enjoying something from our menu along with barista-made coffee or something stronger from the bar.
BrainHackr is a casual game space, you don’t need to be an avid gamer or even have any idea about board games to come in and have some fun. Our team will help you find games suited to you and even get you set up and started with quick tutorials. We also run regular events where you can join other groups of gamers for ‘how to play’ sessions.
While we love to see younger gamers getting into board games we do require all minors to be accompanied by a parent/guardian during our usual hours, check out our ‘Family Friendly’ days for exceptions.

Want to book a session?
You can quickly and easily book a Stay’n’Play session using our online booking system. You don’t even need to pay ahead when booking for less than 6 people. Persons under 18 must always be accompanied by a paying parent/guardian.
If you need to book a table for groups of more than 6 please visit the group bookings page. If you book multiple tables as separate bookings through this page we cannot guarantee your tables will be next to each other.

To ensure your group has a great time, and to make sure there is no disruption to our other customers childrens parties are required to exclusively hire the entire cafe. We will include some organised games, snacks, and take home bags so you don't need to do any work. The only thing we don't do is supervise, so you'll need to make sure you have enough adults in attendance.
We can accommodate groups of various sizes across multiple tables. The maximum number of persons able to fit on one table is 6. Group bookings require payment up front and larger groups are required to purchase catering packages to secure additional tables. Check out our group booking options here
It is possible to exclusively hire the gaming area for corporate events, game group meet ups, etc. Availability is limited and only available with catering packages. You can select 'exclusive use of the cafe' in our group booking tool here
Our group booking packages allow 'up to' a set number of players. For example if you have 15 players then you should select the GroupBooking 16 option. You'll be paying for one extra player, but you're already saving the cost of 2x individual stay n' play tickets by booking as a group
In order to cover our operating costs we only offer large group bookings with food and drink packages included. If you would like to discuss the options don't hesitate to contact us.
Unfortunately no, by booking spaces in advance you prevent other people from booking. In order to cover our costs we can not offer refunds, or transfer food or drink vouchers for players who do not show up.
Need a gaming group?
If you’re looking for some fellow gamers then check out the Tabletoppers of Adelaide Facebook group! There’s heaps of gamers of all skill levels in the group. Just put a shout out asking for gamers and the kinds of games you like to play and let the group do the rest!
We also regularly run learn-to-play and social nights where you can join a group to play bigger games. Keep an eye on our Facebook page to see when these events are scheduled.
